About pidab

We are process automation experts! You find pidab on the Swedish west coast, in Gothenburg and Stenungsund, where we provide expertise to the processing industry.  We have a wide ranging and unique knowledge of measuring technology, automatic control engineering, functional safety, simulation and optimization. We share our knowledge with our clients through our consultancy work, and through organising courses and lecturing.

Our process engineers do process design, automatic control engineering and hazard analysis. They make calculations and specify and describe equipment, systems and functions.

Our automation engineers specify and select control systems and suitable instrumentation based on the process engineers’ specification. They also customize the control system software to suit both the process itself and the people who will control, monitor and maintain it.

Our CAD-team provide support to the engineers and produce pipe and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), layouts, circuit diagrams and other documents needed for construction, operation and maintenance.

Together we produce safe and cost effective solutions for process control. Several of our engineers have long and international experience of project management, purchasing and subcontractor control. We are delighted to take full responsibility for functions and systems.
